Well, exams are finally OVER! It's great relief but my brain still can't believe it's ended since i woke up this morning feeling funny... then thought hard at what was it to find out the exams are really OVER!

well, 2 out of 4 papers are difficult... so i just hope to pass... Plus it's been 2 days since i slept... really hope my not sleeping for 2 days paid off... The midnight oils burnt consecutively for 2 days have really great repercussions... I'm down with flu and headache and really tired. It was ok at the exams but once i left the exam hall after the last paper i was like a dork and zombie... hahax

feels like it's been a long time since i surfed the net and slept in bed with my teddys....

a thought crossed my mind and i'd like to share it. Moving from a totally uptown area and leaving my high class lifestyle has proven difficult to accept at first but having to move into my new home(a showflat) compensated a bit but i still feel unjustified at first... it's not that it's bad here but i haven't adapted just yet UNTIL i thought i should thank god who has given me the chance to live at such classy area and yet letting me have the slow moving lifestyle when i needed it most. There's harmony and more laughter than before. It sort of cleared my unjustifeid feeling... I'll be back there someday anyway... the kampong feeling and love from my family are waht matters to me now... I love the way life has turned out for me even though it may be a bit cruel sometimes... That's what changes are for and humans are made to adapt...
Trust me... everthing will pass and it's the future we should behold and look forward to... (can't believe i've become so cheem myself)

Try to look at things the other way and you will get enlightened... don't think pessimistic...

Met a real friendly uncle(waiter) at expo's BaBa King... maybe just jot down some of the tings he made me realised....
#01 he's baba and customer is the king (that's how he name came about)
#02 he was ceo of a printing co and made many high ranked friendsin the corporate world and he was sharing lots of his experiencce witth us
#03 i can see the words from my textbook come real with his interesting stories and experience. especially sarbanes oxley and corporate governance codes and their impact
#04 he pointed out that professionals are aafety nets for a ceo so aim to be the ceo rather that the accountant(cruel realisation for me)
#05 S'pore has no national crusine and peranakan food's going to be it cause it has a mixture of many cultures
#06 something so wrong it became right
#07 people hold on to their cultures when they live abroad so they are more particular about ettiqutte and behaviours. many migrated families break up because the younger generation having grow up in a foreign land doesn't understand their parents emphasis on culture.
#08 dessert should be served on a clean table and leave your guest mouths with sweetness of the meal.
#09 it is only polite to not drink sweet stuff before dinner to respect the dinner preparer and not spoil the taste buds with sweet drinks
#10 always do something with a whole plan in front of you and not a step at a time. baba king for example is his testing ground and where he gets feedback on his food to manufacture as frozen pack for export as the singapore crusine
#11 chilli crab is not "made-in-singapore" and certainly not singapore crusine(it's penang's) but food fest highlighted it as our crusine due to AHeM
#12 Our crusine is definately not OPF-other people's food
#13 baba's food is good and affordable (couldn't really taste it well due to my flu but i did taste a little after blowing my nose) most importantly it was the service that attracts people and not the food. I can see the sincerity in preparing the dshes on the table last night.
#14 food is an expression of love. eg the eldest son gets deboned chicken while te younger ones don't get it.
#15 we prevent the nxt generation from having to go through what we have gone through and make life easier for them but i totally disagree and seees it as eroding our culture and behaviour

LOVE LIFE and CHERISH WHAT YOU HAVE NOW THAN ALWAYS THINKING OF WHAT ELSE I CAN GET FORM LIFE
