My old primary school site turned into La Villa Restaurant! Unbelievable! I can be eating at my school canteen again! It serves frenchand italian-inspired mediterranean food which features nine types of wood-fired pizzas, including its signature pie with mozzarella, ham, zucchini and mushrooms ($20). Another highlight is grilled meats and seafood such as its grilled Mediterranean sea bass with braised fennel, pimentos, thyme and garlic ($38)... It should be a must try for RVPSians! See http://www.soshiok.com/articles/10897 !!! Although prices are a bit on the high side but i think it's sure worth every cent! I wanna go back!
F1 GP ended yesterday with Fernando Alonso gaining the Singapore championship following is Rosberg and Hamilton. Safety car was out twice and the first time it came out really twisted the whole situation. It made leading F. Massa go into the last few places from being the first due to a pit lane error and his penalty of a pit drivethru. Pity. Another pity was K. Raikkonen whereby he lost his GP points by crashing 3 laps before the end of the race - he was in 5th place! An exciting race and Rosberg's 2nd placing was spectacular and unexpected - he pulled on till the end. Alonso made history since he won the first S'pore night race - focus on the night race please :) It was wasted that Trulli - toyota and Webber - red bull not completing the race due to mechanical failure.
I think S'pore did a great job other than the leaves filling some part of the circuit and plastic bag flying at one or two occasions from the crowd. It must be real great feeling to sit at the floating platform's grandstand for the machines to just roar by from below and plus there was a crash at that site. Many photos caould have been taken. It was a real exciting race and I love the fact that it's at S'pore - my home. The track is so bright it illuminates the S'pore already bright skyline. Love the sound of those machines at speeds 287km/h... See http://www.espnstar.com/motorsport/f1/live-race-centre/ for more details :)
