Went up to Pontian for the past 2 days and 1 night. Went there to accompany xiaoyi for renewing of her driving license. But Xiaoyi went back to spore first while we stayed for the night. We went to visit mum's pri sch friends and went to eat near the sea for dinner and the pasar for supper. It was one after the other. There was this cat sleeping near my feet under the table and i took loads of photos of it :) It is so beautiful and it occasional brushing of its tail against my leg makes it even cuter and likable :) Went back ard 10pm to bathe and then sleep. Mum stayed till 1am to chat with most of her pri sch classmates.

Next day we had brunch st a hawker and its porridge is yummy. Min and i took a lot of photos near the sea. Then we toured ard town and went to see an uncle's driving school. There were so many poles for their parking and amenities are poorly maintained...

We took a taxi to JB then changed bus as taxi to spore is too ex. $40 to our house just across the causeway. Bus was only $1.23 with ezlink and $1.70 without. Damn cheap and very fast reach home. 25 mins from causeway to my house.

Drove to Mel's house but made a detour to waipo's to pass her the ang ku kueh made by xiantoh ahyi. She liked it saying it was not too sweet. Showed her photos of xiantoh and her grandson. Waipo smiled quite a lot. Then i reached Mel's at ard 4.30pm. Thought we coulod talk in private before her actual celebrations but ended up only some time alone with her in her room to open up my presents :) guessed she liked them. Phew... Then went to bbq. Started the fire with her Eugene and then started cooking till about 8pm then sat down to eat. Her grandma's cooking superb! Then went up to her house to see hamsters and take my bag as i was leaving. She only cut the cake at 10pm so we slacked from 9.20pm till cake cutting time then went down to function room to help her father prepare the cake and stuff. I was honoured to take the first photo with bdae girl :) Then i got to splat cream on Mel's face :) One of her friend even threw the whole slice of cake on her face lah. So wasteful. Mango cake was nice but i was too full to finish everything. When i said bye to her parents i said i didn't want a cream cake on my bdae and aunty suggested kueh lapis :) Then i drove back safely :) hahax... It was fun lah... provided what a sad afternoon i had, it helped me forget unhappy stuff and run away from home for a while...
