Bergen to Flam day 6
Friday, October 07, 2011, 1:05 AM
- Disturbed by dad early morning at 5.30am... Then took a bath before breakfast where we met an unreasonable English woman who kept asking us for the water boiler and called us selfish when we only use it to boil wat once...
- Then was packing and setting off for bergen half day... Visited fisherman's wharf where we bought food NOK135... Took photos then the finnocular for NOK70 x5. Breathtaking view of Bergen from up there... Then was a mad rush to pack back at the hostel... And off to the bus station to take the 11.15am bus to Flam which costs NOK1125 for five of us. Where we reached at 2.15pm... Mum bought water for NOK3. The view on the road trip here already is something I have never seen... Fascinating...
- That's where I am now... Went grocery shopping ard local time 3pm and bought NOK330 worth of breakfast and dinner stuff... No time for the souvenir shop so we will make time tomorrow... You should see the view from our apartment here... Beautiful and feels out of this world... Love it!
- There's boat rental here but the rainy weather makes it difficult to have some fun in the water... It gets cloudy here once it rains...same for bergen... And my down coat stinks from all the wetness...
- Water streaks from the mountains, I can even see snow capped mountains from here... Temperature is about 6 to 14 degrees... Our apartment rocks... Very woody but has a beautiful patio that faces the fjords... Definitely a view I can get used to waking up to...
- Cooked our home brought Magee for lunch and then pizza, local beer, self brought Campbell soup, chips and ice cream for snacking and dinner... It has become sort of habit to eat ice cream in cold weather ever since my brother suggested it on our trip to china when we were much younger... Looking forward to the fjord1 boat trip and the train ride up to Oslo... View that can kill...
- Oh and noted a lot of foreigners here... Tourist are mostly Koreans... Few china tourists...

Tata~ time for a well deserved rest...
