- Woke up at 7am and slacked for breakfast of cereal in milk till about 9 or 10am
- Off to a leisure walk to Harring fair in market square where there were performances
- Met Anne a Finnish exchange student who was in singapore for 8 mths and stayed in jb before in a Christmas gift shop. Bought some souvenirs that added up to almost €90
- Tried herring in mustard sauce €6 with local bread €3 to go with it and it was delicious... I used my fingers to pick up the fish to feed my hungry family and so my hands smelled of fish the rest of the day... Seagulls were landing close to us and flying low as though wanting us to feed them.. But we did not feed then as we thought we shall not feed them fish but let them learn how to fish... Ironic but true...
- Then we went to a Viking again to take pictures and drank local beer €5 x 2 with puny chocolate dessert €4.50
- As we walked back to the fair we once again sat down to herring with very nice baked potato €12 then added on the salmon with 2 baked potatos at €23+€2 then was the pan fried herrings at €7 coupled with hot choco/kaakov €2 and another sausage made of unknown meat cause my bro blindly ordered for €2 I guess
- We then walked to the dry market near market square where we bought bread
- Then we sat in esplanade park for ice cream €1.50 x2 and coffee €1.50 where we spotted really cute sparrows and lively greenery and enjoyed the lovely autumn breeze
- A further walk back to Stockmann to stock up on water €1.90 x3 and yoghurt €3.25 x2 for the next day's breakfast. And we found out that recycling the empty mineral water bottle gets us €0.40 per bottle and the recycling machine was just steps away so we tried and it worked! I must say the green movement and recycling consciousness did amaze me... Which brings me to wonder if Singapore could ever reach such level in terms of protecting the earth.
- Next up was the central railway which unfortunately I got to see the Ernst and young office that was right next to it... What luck! Of course i had to take photos with it!
- Then was the post museum where we bought a card €0.85 with stamps €0.75 and sent it to dai gu and ah gu...
- Next up was photo taking with the contemporary art museum, the musical hall and min's kpmg logo! Hahax...
- We then walked slowly back and I bought a Helsinki key chain for €3 before leaving the book store for some more food
- But along the way we saw this mini citron van that sold coffee and a local Finnish guy telling us it was the best coffee in town and the coffee was grinded personally by the store keeper. We had to try it! Turned out ok only.. But the charming Finnish guy who introduced it to us was forgiven due to his charm and wink that he left us before he headed off... Think finnish people probably like to wink at others cause an old man winked to me in the morning when I passed by this cafe... My brother noticed but i didn't... Charming...
- Then was a posh dinner at one of the recommended Finnish food restaurant - Kaarna or sth.. Forgot the name... And the reindeer hamburger steak was superb! The meal costs us €74.60.
- Then back to the hotel to rest for an early day tomorrow... We moved to a quadruple room with ensuite bathroom and it is still pretty much the same as yesterday just bigger in size...

I have to sleep now to be energetic tomorrow for Stockholm exploration! Pardon my putting every detail including costs as I am also keeping track of my expenditures thru my blogging... Saves me the trouble of writing costs down again on a piece of paper!

Loving this new found freedom! Life can be beautiful from another point of view... I was looking from the wrong angle all along!
