Again we left the hotel early... Everyone queued for seats once the bus driver left to collect the bus... Australians and South Africans are even more kiasu than us... U will only believe me when u see them behave the way I do during the trip... Took a 3hr drive to Pisa where we took photos and had lunch... Bought some souvenirs there including pinocchio... Reached Florence Plus hostel and had an evening walking tour where we were brought to a church, outside the museums where the fake Michaelangelo statue and other famous statues stood... All real ones are kept in the museums as they are too precious to be exposed... The old castle and then followed the walkway from the old to the new castle... Then the bridge that transformed from a marketplace to one that only sells jewelry because of the king's walkway built above it... We then headed back to a square and then another marketplace where mum tried to buy leather goods but was asked to go back the next day as they were closing for the day... When she told them she won't be back as we only had one night in Florence, they just said too bad... It was pig's market or because of the fountain there... We then walked back to the hostel where we had a little time to rest before our group dinner... The Australians and South Africans are already there when we reached... All I can say was we were not late but they were much earlier already eating away... Told u they win in terms of kiasuism... Had a two course dinner of salad and pasta... Then after chatting, we went back to bed for an early day to Rome the next day...
